Aleksandra Wilczyńska, Associate Professor, Ph.D., D.Sc. Eng., currently working as a lecturer at Gdynia Maritime University, Department of Quality Management. She received her science degree from Krakow University of Economy with speciality in quality of food stuff. Main areas of her research interest: the impact of environmental pollution on the quality of food products, including honey, food safety, the antioxidant effects of honey and other food products, the quality of edible flowers, the quality of natural and traditional foods, the use of natural antioxidant substances in cosmetic preparations, consumer attitudes, preferences, and behavior in the food and cosmetics market. Research results in th ese areas have been presented in over sixty scientific works: articles, monographs, and chapters in monographs. Due to the topics they address, these works are frequently cited worldwide (number of citations according to Web of Science: 280, h-index: 7). Reviews of dozens of articles submitted for publication in scientific journals, including those on the JCR list, monographs, and conference proceedings.
