Kai Wang is currently working as an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-Sen University in China. He received his Master's degree from Politecnico Di Milan in Italy and received his Ph.D. degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway. His research mainly focuses on the design and dynamic analysis of wind turbines, such as novel wind turbines, and the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of floating wind turbines. Before he started his professorship, he had been working as a Senior Engineer responsible for the design and hydrodynamic analysis of oil and gas platforms, as well as floating wind turbines at Aker Solutions (Oslo) for 5 years.
