Dr. Xin Li, professor at the Dalian University of Technology, has been highly focused on the structural analysis and reliability assessment of pipelines, offshore wind turbines and hybrid concept development for the combination of offshore agriculture and wind turbines for long time. He significantly contributes to the design of fixed and floating offshore wind turbines under wind, wave, current, earthquake and ice loads, accounting for the coupling among wind turbine, tower, foundation, mooring and control systems. He has published more than 120 scientific papers and one academic book.
