Dr. N. R. Patel is a Scientist and Engineer at the
Agriculture & Soils Department, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing ISRO,
Dehradun, India. He earned, from the Gujarat Agricultural University, a BSc. in
Agriculture (1989), an MSc. in Agronomy (1992), and a Ph.D. in Agrometeorology
(1996). He serves as a member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing, the
Association of Agrometeorologists, and the Indian Meteorological Society. His
