Dr. Patel NR

Dr. N. R. Patel is a Scientist and Engineer at the Agriculture & Soils Department, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing ISRO, Dehradun, India. He earned, from the Gujarat Agricultural University, a BSc. in Agriculture (1989), an MSc. in Agronomy (1992), and a Ph.D. in Agrometeorology (1996). He serves as a member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing, the Association of Agrometeorologists, and the Indian Meteorological Society. His research topics mainly include Geoinformatics applications in agriculture, Satellite agrometeorology, Earth observation for drought assessment, Terrestrial Biogeochemical cycles, and Land surface processes and EO inputs.
