Esri Portugal

Carolina Rocha was the winner of the Portuguese Young Scholar Award 2018 with the poster: "Study of Coastal Vulnerability to the Sea Level Rise for Portugal Mainland", conferring the participation in representation of Portugal at the Esri User Conference in July 2018 , in San Diego, and the award was given during the Esri Award Ceremony by CEO Jack Dangermond on July 11, 2018.

Order of Engineers

The IDL/FCUL Team won the award with the proposed methodology for obtaining "Coastal Risk Cartography associated with sea level rise as a consequence of climate change." The award was presented to the Final Conference "2018 - OE Year of Climate Change" by the current Bastonario of the Order, Carlos Mineiro Aires and by the current Minister of the Environment and Energy Transition, João Matos Fernandes
