Prof. Dr. Lacramioara Ochiuz is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania. She obtained a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Science in 2010 from the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania. She completed a series of specializations in Pharmaceutical Technology in Valencia, Spain (2007) and Ljubljana, Slovenia (2011). She is a member of the Society of Physicians and Naturalists of Iasi (2004), the Society for the History of Pharmacy (2005), the Sociedad d'Amicis de la Historia de la Ciencia Farmaceutica Catalana, Barcelona (2005), of the Romanian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2007), of the Controlled Release Society, USA (2007). She published her work in more than 15 articles in international scientific journals, 30 in national journals, 65 poster presentations, and 13 oral presentations at national and international scientific meetings. She is the author of 6 book chapters and co-author of 3. She currently teaches Pharmaceutical Technology and Dermatocosmetology. She is interested in the fields of oral and topical modified release dosage forms, nano- and microparticulate delivery systems, and anti-aging preparations.
