Dr. Weththimuni Maduka Lankani completed her special degree in Chemistry at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and then earned a Ph.D. position at the University of Pavia, Italy. She completed her research doctorate (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry (in the field of Materials Science) in 2013. After that, she was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the same university and continued her research activities there. Beyond her successes as a researcher, she has 11+ consecutive years of experience in synthesis, characterization, doping, and functionalization of nanomaterials for different purposes and has published many peer-reviewed journal papers and conference papers.
