Jorge Pinto is currently a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in the scope of power electronics. After finishing the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computers (@ FEUP), Jorge has been working as a researcher in the scope of power electronics, specifically in the converter control and design for integration of batteries with the main grid. The Ph.D. thesis researches techniques for a decentralized power-sharing of parallel battery converters within an LV island microgrid.
