Dr. Wesam Salah Alaloul is a Senior Lecturer in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He leads the Offshore Engineering Centre under the Institute of Autonomous Systems at UTP. Dr. Alaloul specializes in materials and project management for offshore engineering and has over eight years of experience in Output-Based Education (OBE). His research interests include construction management, construction materials, structures decommissioning, drone applications, precast systems, and life cycle cost assessment. A certified trainer for construction costing and sustainability issues, Dr. Alaloul has published over 150 papers in ISI/Scopus journals and international conferences. He is also a member of several evaluation committees for project proposals and has participated in the steering committee for sustainable urban planning and smart cities.
