Dr. Alberto Assirelli has been a senior researcher at the Council of Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) Research Centre for Engineering and Agri-Food Processing since 2010. He graduated in Agricultural Science at the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1992 and achieved his PhD in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1997, and started working in the Department of Economics and Agricultural Engineering at the same University, continuing his work in other public and private research centres. His research activity deals with agricultural mechanization for food, feed, and energy crops with analysis of technical and economic parameters, and precision and sustainable agriculture.
