Michail Antoniou received a B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electronic and communications engineering and a Ph.D. in radar sensors and systems from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., in 2003 and 2007, respectively. From 2006 to 2011, he was a Research Fellow with the Microwave Integrated Systems Laboratory, University of Birmingham. Since 2011, he has been with the Department of Electronic, Electrical, and Systems Engineering, University of Birmingham, where he is currently a Senior Lecturer. He leads a team of researchers on radar systems and signal processing, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), bi-/multistatic radar, passive radar, MIMO, and cognitive/bioinspired radar.
