Pedro Moura is an Assistant Professor at the University of Coimbra, a researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics, and a faculty member of the Energy for Sustainability Initiative. He background is in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and he earned his PhD in Power Systems from the University of Coimbra. He has held visiting scholar positions at the University of Texas at Austin, Carnegie Mellon University, Comillas Pontifical University, and the Technical University of Madrid. His research focuses on smart grids, particularly in areas such as the integration of renewable energy sources, demand response, electric mobility, and energy storage. He has participated in more than 50 national and European projects and his academic output includes over 150 publications in leading journals, international conferences, and books.
