Reham Hassan Mekky (ORCID ID:0000-0001-5613-5666) is an Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Egyptian Russian University, Cairo, Egypt. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University with a general grade of Distinction with Honor. She received her Ph.D. from Cairo University, Egypt and the University of Granada, Spain via Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II, a scholarship scheme for exchange and cooperation between Europe and North Africa for Doctorate Students. She participated in the project “International Cooperation Cell ICC06 under the Erasmus Mundus – Al Idrisi II Program”. She has published several articles with a focus on pharmacognosy and natural product chemistry of traditionally used therapies and functional foods, and three book chapters. She is a co-founder and an Associate Editor at the ERU Research Journal published by the Egyptian Russian University and Egyptian Knowledge Bank. She is a member of the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI), Italo-Latin American Society of Ethnomedicine, SILAE, (Società Italo-Latinoamericana di Etnomedicina), Alumni of the University of Granada, and the Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists.
