Vladimir Tolmachev received his Master’s degree in chemical engineering from D. Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia in 1984 and his Ph.D. in medical science from Uppsala University in 1998. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. The main goal of his research is the development of methodology for radionuclide diagnostics and therapy of malignant tumors.
