Anton Pleteršek is currently active in FERI, UM Maribor, where he is teaching integrated circuit design. His work includes mixed-signal SoC design, device physics related to nano-meter devices, integrated silicon-based sensors, and complex SoC design in CMOS technologies. He is holding more than 20 patents and is the co-author of the first ever Slovenian patent numbered #00001. He is an author of the first Slovenian IC design book titled “Načrtovanje analognih integriranih vezij v tehnologijah CMOS and BiCMOS, 2017” (Design of Analog Integrated Circuit in CMOS and BiCMOS technology). He was a co-founder of the IDS-microchip company, later AMS R&D, now STMicroelectronics d.o.o. in Ljubljana.
