Dr. Longshen Liu currently serves as an Associate Professor at the College of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing Agricultural University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2008, his master’s degree in Inspection Technology and Automation devices from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2011, and his Ph.D. in agricultural electrification and automation from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2013. From August 2017 to August 2018, he served as a visiting scholar in Agricultural and Bioengineering at Purdue University. He is also a member of the Information Technology Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery, and a member of the expert bank “Early Detection of Animal Diseases” of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). His research direction mainly focuses on intelligent control technology and equipment for precision livestock and poultry breeding.
