Antonio M. Lallena, born in Jaén (Spain) in 1958, obtained his degree in Physics in 1980 and his PhD in Physics in 1984 at the University of Granada (Spain). He is full professor in Atomic, Molecular, and Nuclear Physics at the University of Granada. His current research interests involve various topics in theoretical nuclear physics (nuclear scattering of electroweak probes, nuclear structure) and medical physics (Monte Carlo simulation of radiation transport, radiobiology, tele- and brachytherapy Monte Carlo dosimetry). He is member of the Real Sociedad Española de Física and the Sociedad Española de Física Médica.
