Chin-Chi Cheng received his B. Eng. in electrical engineering from Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 1992; M. Eng. in electrical engineering from Sun, Yat- Sen University, Kaushion, Taiwan, in 1994; and Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, in 2007. From 1998 to 2011, he has been a professor in the department of electrical engineering, Hsiuping University of Science and Technology, Taichung, Taiwan. Since Aug. 2012, he has been a professor at the Department of Energy and Refrigerating Air-Conditioning Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. His research direction includes sensors, techniques and system for real-time monitoring of polymer and freeze drying processes using ultrasound and visualization methods, energy usage analysis and savings by cloud technology, and thermal comfort models established by physiological parameters.
