A global path planning method is proposed based on improved ant colony optimization according to the slow convergence speed in mobile service robot path planning. The distribution of initial pheromone is determined by the critical obstacle influence factor. The influence factor is introduced into the heuristic information to improve the convergence speed of the algorithm at an early stage. A new pheromone update rule is presented using fuzzy control to change the value of pheromone heuristic factor and expectation heuristic factor, adjusting the evaporation rate in stages. The method achieves fast convergence and guarantees global search capability. Finally, the simulation results show that the improved algorithm not only shortens the running time of global path planning, but also has a higher probability of obtaining a global optimal solution. The convergence speed of the algorithm is better than the traditional ant colony algorithm.

The high incidence of traffic accidents brings immeasurable losses to life. In order to avoid such crises, researchers and automakers have used many methods to solve this problem. Among them, technology based on visual features is widely used in driver fatigue detection. As fatigue detection plays a vital role in the driving process, the high accuracy of fatigue monitoring is very important. This paper focuses on the method based on convolutional neural network to detect driver fatigue. First, in the face detection part, the Single‐Shot Multi‐Box Detector algorithm is used to improve the speed and accuracy of face detection to extract the eye and mouth regions; second, the VGG16 network is used to learn fatigue features, which is performed on the NTHU‐Drowsy Driver Detection (NTHU‐DDD) data set and the other two modified data sets Training test. The main result of this work is that the accuracy of fatigue monitoring is higher than other methods including the original method, with an accuracy rate of over 90%. And it has better generalization ability than the multi‐physical feature fusion detection method. At the same time, we propose the fatigue detection method based on convolutional neural network to improve the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) to make it more robust and reliable decision making.

A sliding mode control method based on radial basis function (RBF) neural network is proposed for the deburring of industry robotic systems. First, a dynamic model for deburring the robot system is established. Then, a conventional SMC scheme is introduced for the joint position tracking of robot manipulators. The RBF neural network based sliding mode control (RBFNN-SMC) has the ability to learn uncertain control actions. In the RBFNN-SMC scheme, the adaptive tuning algorithms for network parameters are derived by a Koski function algorithm to ensure the network convergences and enacts stable control. The simulations and experimental results of the deburring robot system are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed RBFNN-SMC control method. The advantages of the proposed RBFNN-SMC method are also evaluated by comparing it to existing control schemes.

This paper proposes a fuzzy PID control method for deburring industrial robots. The adaptive fuzzy PID controller relates to the trajectory and joint angular parameters of the end-effector on a robot. The PID controller parameters update online at each sampling time to guarantee trajectory accuracy of the end-effector. The simulation of the fuzzy PID control is provided based on the 6-DOF deburring industrial robot. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of the fuzzy PID control method.
