Marek Nowacki is a Professor at the WSB University in Poznań. His research interests are focused on the analysis of tourist experiences, management of tourist attractions, development of heritage interpretation programs, and the use of modern technologies and innovation in tourism and recreation. He has published over 130 scientific articles, chapters in monographs and books in the field of tourism and recreation. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly "Studia Periegetica", Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences WSB University in Poznań, Ocean Yacht Master and a skiing, sailing and horse riding instructor, as well as paraglider pilot and travel guide. He has been the owner of a tourism agency for over 20 years.
