Dr. Jlassi Khouloud is a researcher at the Center for Advanced Materials, at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar. She obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Paris Diderot (ITODYS) lab in “chemistry of materials and functional surfaces” at the University Paris Diderot in 2015. Her main research topic involves the design of reactive and functional polymer and hybrid nanocomposites. She is involved in the interface chemistry of nano clay using either silanes or diazonium salts bearing polymerization initiator groups or polymer. She has been working recently on carbon and graphene quantum dots for energy conversion and water treatment applications. She has over 43 research papers and is the editor and reviewer for many international journals. She has participated in many international collaborations with France, Turkey, the United States, and India.
