Overall satisfaction is an emotional response to a perceived discrepancy between expectations and perceptions. Overall satisfaction is more of a holistic affective construct after a service delivery experience, while transaction-specific satisfaction refers to attribute-based cognitive evaluation of service encounters. The authors investigated which particular attributes of public transport service drive satisfaction of customers, contributing to public transport becoming more sustainable. The questionnaire used in this research was constructed based on Benchmarking in European Service of Public Transport (BEST). The respondents belonged to the group of younger users of public transport services. Correlation analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were used in data processing and interpretation. Results obtained from the research show that young people emphasize the importance of on-line information, comfort, and prices of the public transportation. This paper not only provides insight into expectations of public transport users, but also investigated the potential decrease in CO2 and PM emissions when private vehicles are substituted with the public transport.

The circular economic system concentrates on closing the loop for resource flows by imitating the function of natural ecosystems in order to achieve sustainability. The aim of the paper is to introduce a comprehensive approach to assessing countries' performance in municipal waste management and utilization. The change in the efficiency of circular economy in the period from 2016 to 2019 has been analyzed using Data Envelopment Analysis model. Furthermore, Tobit regression model examined the influence of macroeconomic factors on achieved efficiency scores. Results indicate that the performance of the circular economy has an admirable level of efficiency level, as the average score is above 70%. Belgium, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden obtained the highest efficiency levels, while Greece and Cyprus experienced the lowest efficiency scores. The positive observation is that countries efficiency mainly has an ascending trend. Furthermore, the second stage analysis showed that resource productivity, private investments, jobs and gross value added related to the circular economy sector and GDP per capita significantly influence the efficiency of circular economy performance.

The selection and rational use of mechanization significantly affects the cost of agricultural products. To achieve the best financial effects, it is necessary to optimize the use of existing machine parks. The authors suggest a decision tree for deciding whether to ‘innovate or not’. The aim of the research is to define an algorithm that determines whether or not the land is arable, and in this way to help the owner of the family farm in the planning of working hours for agricultural machines, i.e., managing the machine park. The lack of plans, which stems from the lack of accurate data on the appropriate conditions of cultivation, leads to inappropriate use of time and the capacity of the machine park. The decision process is split into four compound variables: biological conditions, economic environment, technological conditions, and expertise and workmanship quality. Linguistic values of these variables are modeled with intuitionistic fuzzy sets, allowing for imprecision in data as well as experts’ hesitation.

Research Question: What type of mutual relations exist between business insurance and entrepreneurship, and how do they impact economic growth? Motivation: The primary motive for the research is the identified literature gap in the field of interdependence between business insurance and entrepreneurship and their joint contribution to economic growth. Idea: To test whether the interdependence between business insurance and entrepreneurship exists and their combined contribution to economic growth. The following independent variables were used: premium per entrepreneur, solved claims per entrepreneur, total technical reserves, GDP/p.c., a measure of demographic variables in the form of education level, a measure of the impact of banking, and the measure for institutional factors in terms of establishment costs the number of entrepreneurs by years as the dependent variable was considered. Data: Data were gathered from various sources (Serbian Statistical Office, National Bank of Serbia, World Bank) in the period from 2008 to 2019. Tools: Descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and statistical tests. Findings: The presented results show that there is a significant influence of insurance, both through insurance premiums per entrepreneur, which are paid to ensure the safety of the entrepreneur, and through resolved claims per entrepreneur, which present an indicator of insurance compensation in the case of damage to the entrepreneur, and through the impact of insurance on financial market by the amount of technical reserves. The return influence was not confirmed, considering that the number of entrepreneurs per year is a stationary variable, so the effect of the number of entrepreneurs on the development of insurance, measured by the premium per entrepreneur, could not be confirmed. Contribution: This research conducted in Serbia, a developing and upper middle-income country, confirmed the positive impact of insurance on entrepreneurship, but the return influence of entrepreneurship on insurance was not proven.

Following the 2008 global financial crisis to date, the global economy has been characterized by increased regulation in every sector, and a particular attention given to risk analysis. Predicting future events has become the primary goal in all segments, because the protection against risks in modern business (e.g. frequent changes in market conditions) has become the key to success. The research method used is based on qualitative research , as well as the analyses of pre-existing quantitative studies. The subject of this research is a comprehensive examination of possible applications of Markov processes in the finance sector. The aim of this examination is to identify the key methodological segments in a qualitative sense, and to explain the mathematical instruments used in this field. The expected results of the research will not contain any new or empirical data. The purpose of this paper is to present and emphasize the significance of Markov processes, and the possibilities of their wide application in economics and finance.
