Byoung Ryong Jeong works with floricultural, medicinal, and rare/endangered plant species. Current research interests and topics include: 1) organogenic and somatic embryogenic micropropagation; 2) propagation and hydroponic culture in the greenhouse, plant factory, and home kitchen cultivation systems; 3) light and temperature manipulation for control of flowering & morphogenesis; 4) silicon nutrition; and 5) use of plants for removal/reuse of particulate matter (fine dust) in the air and inorganic nutrients in the water.
