Prof. Shu-Huei Kao is a Professor in the School of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology at the Taipei Medical University. She is also a Joint-Appointment Professor of Ph.D. Program in Medical Biotechnology. She received his Bachelor of Medical Technology at the Taipei Medical College, a private university, and a Master’s, Ph.D. in the Institute of Biochemistry at the National Yang-Ming Medical College. She has worked as an assistant researcher at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, as an assistant professor at Yuanpei Medical University, and as an associate professor at the School of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology, Taipei Medical University. Currently, she is a Vice Dean of the School of Medical Technology at Taipei Medical University. Her research expertise includes reproductive medicine and mitochondrial medicine.
