Prof. Bo Cui is the Director of the Department of Food Science and Engineering and the Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering at Qilu University of Technology. He is also the President of Shandong Food Fermentation Industry Research and Design Institute, Shandong Food Industry Innovation and Development Research Institute, and the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Bio-Based Materials and Green Papermaking. He received his MSc in Fermentation Engineering from Shandong University (2002) and his PhD in Food Science and Engineering from Jiangnan University (2011). He has won many honors, including the Labor Medal of Shandong Province for Enriching the People and Prospering Shandong (2010), and the Jinan Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Contribution Award (2011 and 2012). He was named the Linyi City Innovation Leader (2014) and the Advanced Individual in Popular Science Work in Shandong Province (2012). In 2016, he was named the Jinan City Food Industry Innovation Leader.
