Biography

Guosheng Han is a Professor at the School of Business, Shandong University, Weihai, China. He received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University and has served as a visiting scholar at several international institutions, including Northern Arizona University, National Taiwan Normal University, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research primarily focuses on consumer decision-making, behavioral responses to policy and market stimuli, and the diffusion of emerging products and services under complex socio-economic environments. Using quantitative modeling, spatial analysis, and behavioral theories, his work investigates how individual perceptions, attitudes, and social influences translate into collective market outcomes. Although his earlier studies were conducted in tourism and service contexts, the underlying theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches are highly transferable to other domains characterized by technology adoption and market diffusion, such as electric vehicles. His interdisciplinary perspective contributes to a deeper understanding of how policy incentives, market structures, and consumer behavior jointly shape sales dynamics in emerging technology markets.
