Prof. Francesco Veglio' is currently a Full Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of L'Aquila, Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and Economics. He received a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of L'Aquila in 1987. Additionally, He worked as an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at L’Aquila University (1992–1999). He worked as an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Genoa University (1999–2003). His research topics mainly include chemical engineering, hydrometallurgy, industrial waste recycling, WEEE, spent batteries, wastewater treatment, and environmental biotechnology.
