Prof. Dr. Toomas Vaimann was born in Pärnu, Estonia in 1984
and received his BSc (2007), MSc (2009), and PhD (2014) degrees in electrical
engineering from the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. He is currently
a Research Professor at the Tallinn University of Technology, Department of
Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics. He is a senior member of IEEE. His main research interest is the diagnostics of electrical machines.
