Dr. Alemayehu Kidanemariam is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Gachon University. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Chung-Ang University in 2022, where his doctoral research focused on wastewater treatment using advanced materials for the removal of toxic dyes and heavy metals. His research broadly centers on the fabrication and application of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for adsorption, sensing, and energy-related applications, as well as the synthesis of conjugated polymers for biomedical and photocatalytic systems. Dr. Kidanemariam has published extensively in leading journals such as Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, ACS Omega, and Macromolecules. He has expertise in advanced materials characterization techniques, including NMR, PXRD, FE-SEM, TEM, BET, XPS, TGA, UV–vis spectroscopy, and zeta potential analysis. He is a recipient of the CAYSS Scholarship and actively serves as a reviewer for ACS journals, while mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in experimental design and data analysis.
