Dr. Zorita Diaconeasa is currently an Assistant Professor at the Biochemistry Department of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. From 2013 to the present, she has also worked for the department of Research and Development at Arobiopharm SRL. Her line of research is related to the bioaccessibility, bioavailability, and biological activity of plant bioactive components in human and animal cell models, with a particular focus on (poly)phenolic compounds, mainly anthocyanins.
