Daniel Remondini is a Full Professor at the Physics Department of Bologna University. He graduated in Physics in 1997 from Bologna University, and received his Ph.D. in Physics in 2001 from the same university, with theses related to the study of neural network models for the modeling of synaptic plasticity. Since 2019 he has been a Full Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Bologna. He works in the application of mathematical models in Biology, such as network theory for the study of complex systems and the development of innovative algorithms for the analysis of high-dimensional biological data (multiple omics, NGSeq, Metagenome, and Neuroimaging). He has collaborated in various national and regional (PRIN, AIL, FIN-RER, Finalized Research, Start Cup, and High Skills) and international projects (EU projects from FP6 to Horizon Europe).
