Fabrizio Dominici is the head of the Data Science research area of LINKS foundation with the responsibility to manage a group of 20+ researchers that work in the domain of digital innovation implementing Intelligent Systems that exploit top-notch technological solutions such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data, NLP and GIS. The area promotes an applied research approach to study, design and prototype solutions that cover the whole data value-chain which starts from the data generation on devices (e.g. mobile, wearable, embedded) and the data gathering from multiple sources of data (e.g. crowdsensing, geospatial-sensing, social-media, in-situ monitoring), up to the data valorization through the prototyping and provisioning of AI-based added-value services. He has valuable experience in managing multidisciplinary innovation projects at National and European level.
