Erik M. Bollt is a W. Jon Harrington Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Clarkson Center for Complex Systems Science at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA. He received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, in 1992 and 1995, respectively, all in Applied Mathematics. His research interests include the data-driven analysis of complex systems and dynamical systems, causation inference, information theory, machine learning and data science methods, and network science.
