Michal Podpora received an M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Robotics from the Opole University of Technology and in 2021 his habilitation in Cybernetics from the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. He is currently employed as an Associate Professor with the Institute of Computer Science, University of Opole, and as a Humanoid Robot Developer with Research Department at Weegree. His main research interests include artificial intelligence in robotics, cognitive systems, robotic systems, smart infrastructure, embedded systems, IoT, and cybersecurity.
