Dr. Bryan G. Hopkins earned his Ph.D. in Agronomy from Kansas State University in 1995, following his M.S. and B.S. degrees from Brigham Young University (BYU) and an A.A.S. from Ricks College. From 1995 to 2000, he served as lab director and education director at Servi-Tech, Inc., before joining the University of Idaho faculty from 2000 to 2006. He has served on the faculty at BYU since 2007 and is a full professor. Dr. Hopkins is an expert in soil, plant nutrients, and water science. His publication history, teaching excellence, and mentoring prowess have earned him numerous accolades, including being named a Fellow of the Soil Science Society of America in 2021 and the Agronomy Society of America in 2019.
