Pierluigi Rippa is an Assistant Professor of Managerial Engineering at the Federico II University of Naples, Italy. He received his PhD in Business Management and spent a period as a visiting researcher at California State University, Chico, USA, and one at Wayne State University, Michigan. His research interests include innovation and entrepreneurship, knowledge management, and information systems. He received three awards for best paper at two international conferences. He has been president (since 2014) of the Global Information and Technology Management Association. He serves on the editorial board of three international journals. He is currently the chief of the Masters' Degree in Business Management. He is the director of the StartupGrind, University Federico II. He acts as the rector's delegate for innovation and the Third Mission.
