Abbas Dashtimanesh leads the Smart, Safe and Green Hydrodynamics research group where he focuses on various fields including safety, fuel efficiency, smartization and marine/ship hydrodynamics. To work on these topics, he has been implementing/developing a large variety of methods including towing tank experiments, numerical methods (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and mathematical models. Now, he is working on several projects such as green cruising of high-speed craft, motion reduction of marine vehicles and implementation of artificial intelligence in computational marine hydrodynamics.
