Syed Masiur Rahman received his BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh, in 2000. He earned his MSc degree in City and Regional Planning and his PhD degree in Civil Engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. Since 2017, he has been a Research Engineer and an Associate Professor with the Center for Environment and Marine Studies, KFUPM. He has authored 3 books, more than 50 journal articles, and 1 invention. He is an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Transportation and Logistics.
