Dr. Ganesh T. Chavan works as Research Professor in School of Chemical Engineering, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, Republic of Korea. Dr. Chavan received his M.Sc. in 2014 with distinction and his Ph.D. from Solapur University, Solapur, M.S., India, in 2017, with Materials Science as his specialization under the guidance of Prof. L.P. Deshmukh. He achieved the support of a BK21-Plus early career Postdoctoral Fellowship at Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, in (2019-20) and Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan (2020-2022), South Korea. He has published over 37 research articles (with high citing rates) in various internally reputed journals. His research interests include chemical synthesis of novel nanostructures with multinary compositions, their in-depth chemical analysis followed by laboratory (small scale) and commercial (industry base) applicability in various fields, such as electrochemistry, solar cells, water splitting, energy storage, and especially asymmetric supercapacitor devices.
