Yveliang Liu is a Professor at the School of Petroleum Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Beijing. He received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry at China University of Petroleum (East China) in
2011, completed his master’s studies in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering at the same university in 2014, and earned his Ph.D. in 2018 at the University of Alberta. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at China University of Petroleum (East China) (2018–2021). Afterward, he became an Associate Professor
at the China University of Petroleum, Beijing in 2021, and was promoted to Professor in 2023. He won the IAAM Scientist Medal Award from the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) in 2022. His research areas include the theory and technology of synergy between CO2-enhanced oil and gas recovery and geological storage; the theory and simulation of phase equilibrium in multi-phase complex systems of carbon dioxide; carbon dioxide rapid mineralization methods and technology.
