Prof. Alberto Brunete is an Associate Professor at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Diseño Industrial (ETSIDI) and Researcher at the Centre for Automation and Robotics, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain. He obtained his M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering and PhD in Robotics and Automation from the UPM. He also received the Spanish Prize ABC Solidario for the Fall Detector Project for Elderly People in 2016. His main research interests include service robots and smart environments.
