Information

I am currently working as an assistant professor with the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, CAS. My research focuses on advancing land cover mapping and classification through the integration of big Earth Observation data, cutting-edge machine learning techniques, cloud computing platforms. I have developed and applied novel methods to improve the accuracy of land cover datasets, particularly in challenging and diverse regions like mountainous areas. I also explore the environmental impacts of land cover/use changes, focusing on its effects on water loss and air pollution. Additionally, my work involves developing innovative approaches to assess water resource changes in mountainous regions and their connection to climate change. I have received excellent international student and graduate titles from UCAS in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
