Dr. Basil Almutairi, BDS, MSD, ABOD ORCID iD: 0009-0007-1604-1332 Dr. Basil Almutairi is an Associate Professor in the Division of Operative Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, College of Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He also serves as a Part-Time Consultant at SIGAL Dental Clinic, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He earned his Master of Science and specialty training in Operative Dentistry from Indiana University School of Dentistry, USA, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Operative Dentistry (ABOD). His academic and clinical interests focus on adhesive and restorative dentistry, esthetic restorative procedures, dental biomaterials, minimally invasive dentistry, direct and indirect restorations, and evidence-based clinical practice. His research encompasses restorative materials, adhesive technologies, resin composites, ceramic restorations, clinical outcomes, and innovations that improve the longevity and predictability of restorative treatments. Dr. Almutairi is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, research supervision, and professional development.
