Dr. Belal Almomani

Belal Almomani is a post doctor of the RISE, University of Sharjah. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Kyung Hee Univer-sity. He received his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering from KAIST. His research interests are in the field of structural integrity and failure, modeling and simulation, dynamic analysis, uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, nuclear safety. His other interests are to develop risk assessment frameworks for spent nuclear fuel transportation packages and storage facilities under accident conditions using deterministic and probabilistic approaches. I also have a great interest in damage mechanics, especially development of design and damage prediction models based on fracture mechanics and numerical analysis methods. For instance simulation and response analysis are always his priorities.
