Luis A. Cardozo completed a degree in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation, with postgraduate studies in the field of Sports Training and Physical Activity (UDCA - URosario, Bogota-Colombia). Luis A. Cardozo is a PhD student in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Seville-Spain), the leader of formative research and former president of the Ethics and Scientific Integrity Committee (CEICI 2022- 2023 at the Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina, Bogotá-Colombia, an Associate Researcher (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation-Minciencias Colombia), and a peer reviewer in scientific journals (including PLOS ONE, Frontiers in Nutrition, Retos, Cuadernos de Psicología del Deporte, Revista Cubana de Investigaciones Biomédicas, among others).
