Teresa Cardona-Cabrera is a wildlife veterinarian and a PhD student at the University of Castilla - La Mancha in Spain. Her PhD and research interests include the study of the role of wild birds in the acquisition and dispersal of antimicrobial resistant bacteria as well as the impact AMR bacteria on wildlife this also includes the characterization of antimicrobial resistance mechanisms and the mobilization of resistance genes, antimicrobial resistance from the ONE HEALTH perspective.
