Georgios Tziatzios graduated from the Department of Agriculture, Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment, School of Agricultural Sciences, University of Thessaly, Greece (2010). He holds a Master's of Science in Environmental Engineering and Science in the direction of “Waste management and water resources”, from the Department of the Environmental Engineering, School of Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece (2012). Since March 2014, he has been a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Thessaly, working on the assessment and prediction of climate change impact on groundwater resources. His main research interests include (a) integrated water resources management, (b) groundwater flow and solute transport modelling, (c) optimization of groundwater resources management, (d) GIS applications in hydrology, and (e) crop modelling. He is a research associate of the Laboratory of Hydrology and Aquatic Systems Analysis.
