Prof. Jacek Górka

Jacek Górka is the Head of the Department of Welding Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and holds the EWE (European Welding Engineer) competence certificate. Prof. Dr. Górka's main research focuses include the welding of modern construction materials, metallurgical processes, quality control of welding processes, abrasive and erosive wear processes and the use of nanostructured carbon materials to modify the properties and structure of welds, and plasma cutting.
