The research in question analyzes the impact of mining wastewater on the quality of surface water of brown coal mines. Through careful statistical and chemical analysis, key parameters in surface water were investigated before and after the discharge of wastewater into surface water. The results indicate statistically significant variations, especially highlighting nitrates, nitrites, and sulfates. Identified periods of deviation provide the basis for the precise application of preventive and corrective measures. The results of the research are important not only for the mining industry but also for the preservation of ecosystems in the vicinity of brown coal mines. Targeted guidance of water treatment according to identified parameters provides practical guidelines for increasing treatment efficiency, with long-term positive effects on water quality and biodiversity preservation. The research contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the impact of mining activities on surface waters, providing scientifically based data for informed decision-making of mining operations and the preservation of aquatic ecosystems.

Entrepreneurial ecosystems are the main driver of the widespread trend of digitalization, and they open opportunities for the advancement of the digital economy. The digital economy makes its progress through innovative enterprises that can ensure global progress. In order to effectively use the opportunities that open up the process of digitalization, information is needed on how much the Republic of Serbia is able to support the process of discovering entrepreneurship, which is stimulated by digitalization, which is the subject of this paper. The aim of this paper is to analyze the digital entrepreneurial system of the Republic of Serbia, as well as to identify indicators that hinder the development of this system, using appropriate instruments and methods that will be presented in detail in the paper. The results have demonstrated that the starting point for improvement of the digital entrepreneurial system is in the field of finance, with a particular focus on companies in the startup and stand-up phases. Furthermore, a comparative analysis will showcase the digital entrepreneurial system of the Republic of Serbia and the member states of the European Union, where it will be seen that the digital entrepreneurial system of the Republic of Serbia is lagging behind the member states of the European Union in its growth and development. The results will serve as the starting point for policymakers to improve the process of digitalization and the digital entrepreneurial system as a whole. The results show the starting point for the improvement of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Serbia, that is, how small, and medium-sized enterprises can be encouraged on the path to their successful management.

The entrepreneurial ecosystem is becoming a phenomenon that is increasingly becoming the subject of research by researchers whose field of interest is precisely entrepreneurship. What researchers in the field are encountering is a certain gap in the literature that exists, which arose as a result of interpreting the entrepreneurial ecosystem from different aspects. While certain researchers view the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a context of entrepreneurship, as a regional innovation system or as an entrepreneurial environment, on the other hand the authors view it as an entrepreneurial process that follows high growth or as a business ecosystem. This paper aims to show the impact that the entrepreneurial ecosystem has on the initiation and development of innovations, and therefore on the entrepreneurial process, as one of the most important influences on the growth and development of the economy of each country.

For the interpretation of digital entrepreneurship, the context in which the entrepreneurial process takes place plays an important role. The context emphasizes that to analyze the entrepreneurial process, it is no longer sufficient to analyze only the entrepreneurial actions, but also the environment in which the entrepreneurial process takes place. The aim of this paper is to analyze the part of the context in which the entrepreneurial process takes place in the Republic of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary. Following the methodology of The European Index of Digital Entrepreneurship Systems (EIDES), the paper analyzes the system framework conditions, in the scale-up phase of the enterprise life cycle, in the digital dimension. The aim of this paper is a comparative analysis of three countries in transition with one country belonging to the European Union. After identifying the most developed factors, as well as the most underdeveloped factors, the paper discusses the conditions that influenced the results achieved in the four previously listed countries and why their improvement is important.

The aim of the paper is to research the sociological aspects of information security through the HAIS-Q model, at the Faculty of Engineering Management. The research was conducted anonymously, within a time frame of four months, on a sample of 179 respondents. The HAIS-Q model is built from seven focus groups, which pervade the variables of knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, while the subject research is focused on the focus area "use of the Internet". By analyzing the variables with the lowest scores in one of the seven focus areas of this model, gaps in information security awareness among employees are explored. The paper highlights the implications of these deficiencies for organizational security and information protection, with an emphasis on the importance of improving the variables with the lowest scores. Through a comprehensive consideration of the sociological dimensions of information security, this paper contributes to a better understanding and management of this important field, emphasizing its importance in today's digital age.

This study investigates how enterprises in the service (tertiary) sector in Vojvodina, Serbia, integrate and prioritize Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on ecological sustainability, under crisis conditions. Based on a questionnaire survey and factor analysis of 150 respondents, which identified four key sustainability dimensions explained 59.75% of total variance, were identified: Education and Energy (including SDG4—Quality Education and SDG7—Affordable and Clean Energy), Health and Social Well-being (including SDG3—Good Health and Well-being and SDG2—Zero Hunger), Ecological Sustainability and Nature Protection (including SDG6—Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG14—Life Below Water), and Economy and Climate Change (including SDG8—Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG13—Climate Action, and SDG17—Partnerships for the Goals). The findings emphasize the multidimensional and interconnected nature of these dimensions and their role in enhancing organizational resilience. By linking crisis management strategies with SDG integration, the study provides both theoretical contributions and practical insights for managers aiming to improve sustainability performance in turbulent environments.
