Dr. Kerim Güney received his B.Sc. degree in Biology from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, in 1991. He completed his M.Sc. in Molecular Taxonomy in 1994 and his Ph.D. in Vegetation Ecology in 2001, both at the same institution. Since 2001, he has been a faculty member at Kastamonu University, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forest Botany, where his research focuses on medicinal plants and their cultivation
